The death of Kim Jong Il

His death was announced Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 by state television two days after he died.
North Korean television has announced in a "special broadcast" that the communist country\'s leader Kim Jong Il has died in Pyongyang. He was 69. Kim is believed to have suffered a stroke in 2008 and was believed to have had diabetes and heart disease.
