Flat12 Brewing pays proper respect to the traditions of American craft brewing with their flagship beers as well as offering seasonals and specialties. These balanced, clean, flavorful beers are all brewed with their own quirky twists. Their tasting room, located near downtown Indianapolis, offers beer on draft and carryout, including 1/2 barrels and 1/6 barrels. What Twinkle tasted: Pogue\'s Run Porter Availability: Year round ABV 5.5% "The Flat12 Porter is inspired by the robust porters favored by the Industrial-age working men of Europe. We chose to emphasize balance from a combination of dark grains including brown malt, which was the primary roasted grain of the time. This Flat12 creation is smooth and balanced with slight roast and chocolate notes, yet it’s not heavy, just like a good porter should be." - from the brewer Suggested Food Pairing: Smoked or roasted meats and hearty stews, rich desserts.
